1000 ml package
  • Cyproconazole + Carbendazim (Altocombi) Behavaran
  • Cyproconazole + Carbendazim fungicide at 42% suspension concentration is an effective, widely used product for controlling fungal diseases in plants. This combination features two active ingredients that each play a key role in inhibiting fungal growth and spread. Cyproconazole from the triazole family stops fungal growth by disrupting cell membrane structure. Carbendazim from the benzimidazole group halts disease progression by interfering with fungal cell division. Offered in 1000 ml packaging, its systemic and broad-spectrum action makes it suitable for many agricultural crops.

Mode of Action

  • Systemic fungicide with protective and curative properties from the guanidine family. Its mode of action is by altering the integrity and permeability of fungal cell membranes, disrupting cellular respiration processes and ultimately killing the fungus.

Uses

  • This product effectively controls various fungal diseases across agricultural crops:

    • Wheat: Fusarium head blight (reduces yield and quality) – 500 ml per hectare

    • Rapeseed: Sclerotinia rot (destructive disease) – 1 liter per hectare

Also used in fruit orchards, grapes, vegetables, cucurbits, and ornamentals for broad fungal control, supporting crop health.

    Key Usage Notes

  • Wheat pre-harvest interval (PHI): minimum 42 days to avoid residues.
  • Do not mix with pesticides containing heavy metals, copper compounds, or zinc sulfate to maintain efficacy.
  • For severe wheat infections: two applications possible – first at flag leaf emergence before heading, second after heading (avoid during flowering).
  • Rapeseed: best at 10-15% flowering stage.
  • Test on new varieties or seeds at small scale first for compatibility.

Advantages

  • Dual protective and curative action.
  • Systemic absorption via leaves and roots for plant-wide distribution.
  • Broad-spectrum control across diverse crops.
  • Relatively low toxicity compared to similar fungicides.

  • Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and respirator during mixing and application to prevent skin, eye, and inhalation exposure.
  • Observe 42-day PHI for wheat; do not harvest sooner to avoid residues.
  • Avoid tank-mixing with copper, heavy metals, or zinc sulfate products.
  • Limit to 2 applications per season; rotate with different FRAC groups (3 and 1) to prevent resistance.
  • Test on small areas for new crop varieties; do not apply during flowering.
  • Store in cool, dry place away from food, children, and pets.

  • Systemic action reduces runoff but moderately persistent in soil—follow rates to protect microbes and earthworms.
  • Low to moderate toxicity to aquatic life; avoid application near water bodies.
  • Safe for pollinators outside bloom; integrate into IPM for sustainable use.
  • Dual modes minimize broad non-target effects when used responsibly.
  • Proper disposal of containers prevents contamination per local regulations.
