Propiconazole 25% EC (Tilt) – systemic triazole fungicide for wheat rust, Fusarium head blight, and rice sheath blight. Broad-spectrum with 30-day PHI. 1L packaging.

500 ml package
  • Propiconazole (Tilt) Behavaran
  • Systemic fungicide with protective and curative action, translocated from leaves to roots and vice versa in the xylem. Effective against rice sheath blight, wheat rust, and wheat Fusarium head blight.

Mode of Action

  • One of the most famous and high-quality fungicides, considered the best for wheat rust control. From the triazole family with broad-spectrum activity and medium resistance risk. Acts by inhibiting sterol 14-demethylase enzyme in the ergosterol biosynthesis pathway.

Uses

  • Internationally used for cereal rusts, cereal powdery mildews, brown blotch, Septoria, sooty mold on cereals, beet rust and powdery mildew, rice sheath blight, and garlic/onion rust. Pre-harvest interval (PHI) for rice, wheat, and barley: 30 days. Suitable for field crops like onion, garlic, wheat, and tomato. Best applied on wheat from late winter to early spring. Consult plant pathologist before use; avoid during strong winds. Some experts use for wheat/barley powdery mildew control.

    • Wheat – rust and Fusarium head blight: 1 L per hectare

    • Rice – stem blight (sheath blight): 1 L per hectare

  • Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and respirator during mixing and application.
  • Observe 30-day PHI for rice, wheat, barley; do not harvest sooner.
  • Rotate with different FRAC groups (3) to manage medium resistance risk.
  • Avoid use during strong winds; consult experts for timing.
  • Test tank mixes; incompatible with alkaline products.
  • Store in cool, dry place away from food and children.

Dispose containers per local regulations.

  • Moderate persistence in soil; avoid runoff into water bodies.
  • Low to moderate toxicity to pollinators when dry; use in IPM.
  • Systemic xylem movement reduces non-target exposure.
  • Limit applications to prevent resistance development.
