  • Carbendazim is a systemic fungicide with protective and therapeutic effects from the benzimidazole family and is widely used, which is absorbed and transmitted through the roots and green tissue. Effective against latent and manifest black spot of wheat and barley One of the most widely used pesticides in agriculture for the prevention and control of plant diseases, with high solubility and absorption speed, which is most effective against powdery mildew, phytophthora and rust fungi.
  • This fungicide, with its systemic properties, can move to all parts of the plant and be absorbed by the plant through the roots and leaves and prevent diseases.
Mode Of Action
  • It is a systemic fungicide from the benzimidazole family. The way carbendazim works is by preventing the biosynthesis of beta-tubulin and as a result disrupting the mitotic division of fungal cells.
  Uses
  • For a wide range of diseases such as: Fusarium crown and root rot, Rhizoctonia in vegetables and greenhouse crops, powdery mildew in grapes, apples, cucumbers and vegetables, leaf spots such as Septoria and Cercospora, fruit and crown rot, black spot of apples, rice blast (as an auxiliary effect) and storage rots.
  • In other countries, it is used to control diseases caused by Septoria, Fusarium, Sclerotinia, black spot, powdery mildew and worm control in grass. The use of this fungicide is prohibited in edible mushroom farms.
    In high concentrations, it causes infertility in animals. So far, the expiration date for this toxin has not been registered.
