Iprodione + Carbendazim 52.2% WP (Rural TS) – systemic contact fungicide for rice sheath blight, mulberry twig blight, barley brown stripe, and citrus post-harvest diseases. 1kg packaging.

1000 gr package
  • Iprodione + Carbendazim (Rural TS) Behvaran
  • Systemic and contact fungicide with broad-spectrum activity for effective prevention and control of rice sheath blight, mulberry twig blight, and barley brown stripe leaf spot.

Mode of Action

  • Iprodione inhibits histidine kinase in the osmotic signal transduction pathway. Carbendazim disrupts β-tubulin biosynthesis, preventing fungal mitosis and cell division.

Uses

  • This combination fungicide features iprodione (contact, protective from carboximide family) and carbendazim (systemic from benzimidazole family). It provides both contact protection and systemic activity, aiding in disease prevention and treatment across a wide range of plant diseases. Suitable for seedling disinfection and root irrigation of trees.

  • Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and respirator during mixing and application to avoid skin and respiratory exposure.
  • Do not apply during high winds or rain to prevent drift and runoff.
  • Rotate with fungicides from different FRAC groups (2 and 1) to prevent resistance development.
  • Observe local pre-harvest intervals; test on small areas for phytotoxicity risk.
  • Limit applications to prevent buildup in soil.
  • Moderate persistence in soil; avoid overuse to protect beneficial soil microbes and earthworms.
  • Low to moderate toxicity to bees and aquatic life—apply early morning or evening, away from water bodies.
  • Supports IPM by targeting specific pathogens; minimize drift to non-target plants.
  • Carbendazim component has groundwater potential—follow label rates strictly.
  • Enhances disease control sustainability when alternated with non-chemical methods.
