Behavaran Zarrin Mozhdeh

  • Metalaxyl + Mancozeb fungicide provides broad-spectrum protection against fungal diseases, combining systemic and contact action for healthier crops and higher yields.

  • Metalaxyl Mancozeb (Rosalaxyl) Behavaran
  • 1000 g packaging

  • Systemic fungicide with a protective effect, effective against cucumber blight, potato blight, pathogenic oomycetes, especially indoor powdery mildew The combination of these two substances creates a very powerful and safe poison for controlling root, crown and leaf diseases caused by oomycetes.
Method of action
  • The fungicide is a combination of mancozeb (a contact fungicide with a protective effect from the dithiocarbamate family) and metalaxyl (a systemic fungicide with a protective and therapeutic effect from the acylalanine family) Its mechanism of action is multiple and disrupts the function of enzymes, preventing the activity of the polymerase enzyme, resulting in the accumulation of nucleoside triphosphate and increasing the thickness of the cell wall.
  • It consists of 8% metalaxyl and 64% mancozeb. The first part, metalaxyl, can prevent protein synthesis, and the second part, the fungicide, mancozeb, disrupts respiratory enzymes.
  • This fungicide is easily absorbed through the roots, stems, and leaves of plants and is distributed systemically. The fungicide mancozeb has a covering effect and prevents the entry and reproduction of fungi.

Uses
  • In other countries, it is used to control various types of bush wilt and wind blight by watering the base of the bushes. This fungicide can be used to disinfect seedlings before planting and prevent seedling death disease (bush wilt) by immersing the seedlings in a solution containing this poison and spraying the aerial parts. It can also be used to control diseases such as internal or false powdery mildew in tobacco, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, potatoes and cucumbers.
  • The period of dormancy until harvest is 7 to 14 days.

  • Wear gloves, a mask, and appropriate clothing.
  • Do not use in extreme heat, wind, or when the plant is flowering.
  • To prevent resistance, do not use more than two consecutive applications per season.
  • Prevent the solution from entering waterways. Wait a full 24 hours before applying to allow complete absorption of metalaxyl.
  • Avoid mixing with alkaline and copper compounds.
  • It is very effective in nurseries and seedlings, but a lower dose is recommended.
  • For sensitive plants (e.g., some cucumber varieties), a small test should be performed first

  • Mancozeb is moderately toxic to aquatic life; spraying near ponds and rivers is prohibited.
  • If using acids, prevent the concentrated solution from entering water sources.
  • Toxicity to bees is low, but do not use when bees are flying.
  • It degrades slowly in soil and the risk of long-term accumulation is low.
  • Excessive use increases the risk of disease resistance.
