500 ml package
  • This fungicide combines azoxystrobin from the strobilurin family and difenoconazole from the triazole family. Azoxystrobin is a systemic fungicide with broad-spectrum activity, currently the most widely used in its family. It inhibits spore germination and mycelial growth in early disease cycles and prevents sporulation. Azoxystrobin controls strains resistant to ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitors, phenylamides, dicarboxamides, and benzimidazoles. It has high resistance risk (FRAC) and an LD50 >5000 mg/kg.
  • Difenoconazole is also a systemic triazole fungicide with protective and curative effects, strong penetration, and broad activity, used for foliar sprays and seed treatment. It provides long-term protection and control against Ascomycete and Basidiomycete pathogens, with medium resistance risk and LD50 of 1453 mg/kg.

Mode of Action

  • Azoxystrobin disrupts cellular respiration by inhibiting electron transfer in complex III of the respiratory chain. Difenoconazole inhibits sterol 14-demethylase enzyme in the ergosterol biosynthesis pathway.

Uses

  • Registered in Iran for powdery mildew control on open-field and greenhouse cucumbers. Internationally used for rice blast and sheath blight, downy mildew and leaf spot on onions, rust and leaf spot on garlic, downy mildew on chickpeas, anthracnose and powdery mildew on peppers and potatoes, wheat powdery mildew, and stone fruit rust.
Application Guide
  • Pre-harvest interval (PHI) for cucumbers is 2 days; maximum 2 applications per crop cycle. Apply at first disease symptoms and repeat every 5-10 days until disease stops.
  • Greenhouse cucumber – powdery mildew (foliar): 750 ml per 1000 liters

  • Open-field cucumber – powdery mildew (foliar): 750 ml per hectare

  • Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and respirator during handling and application to prevent skin, eye, and inhalation exposure.
  • Limit to 2 applications per season; rotate with fungicides from different FRAC groups to manage high resistance risk.
  • Do not apply during strong winds or near water sources to avoid drift.
  • Observe 2-day PHI for cucumbers; do not harvest sooner.
  • Test compatibility before tank-mixing; avoid alkaline products.
  • Store in cool, dry place away from food and children.
Edit Content
  • Low mammalian toxicity but high resistance potential—use in IPM programs with rotation.
  • Systemic action reduces runoff; moderately persistent in soil—follow rates to avoid leaching.
  • Safe for pollinators outside bloom; azoxystrobin promotes plant greening without broad non-target harm.
  • Difenoconazole medium persistence; minimize applications to protect soil microbes and aquatic life.
  • Broad-spectrum control supports sustainable disease management when integrated with cultural practices.
