Copper Oxychloride

Copper Oxychloride 35% WP – protective fungicide for peach leaf curl, citrus gummosis, downy mildew, late blight, and cankers on fruit trees and vegetables. No PHI. 1kg packaging.

1000 gr package
  • Copper Oxychloride Behavaran
  • Protective fungicide effective against mummification and peach leaf curl on peach and temperate fruit trees, citrus gummosis, palm inflorescence rot, downy mildew on vegetables and cucurbits, and potato and tomato false downy mildew.

Mode of Action

  • Copper oxychloride fungicide and bactericide with broad-spectrum use against plant diseases. Its mechanism involves disruption of cellular metabolism, protein precipitation, and inhibition of fungal spore germination. During foliar application, it can be absorbed through stems, leaves, and even roots, translocating throughout the plant. Suitable for controlling citrus and pistachio gummosis and preventing Phytophthora root rot in stone fruit trees.

Uses

  • Effective against fruit canker, bacterial canker on stone fruits and citrus, fire blight on pome fruits, peach leaf curl, shot-hole on stone fruits, almond brick spot, walnut anthracnose and blight, cucumber angular leaf spot, potato late blight, and citrus/pistachio gummosis. No pre-harvest interval (PHI) established. Requires compatibility test before tank-mixing with other pesticides. Low toxicity to humans and mammals; safe for fish and bees. Ideal for four-spray program on fruit trees: 1st before bud swell, 2nd after petal fall, 3rd at fruit set, 4th in autumn at 50% leaf drop. Use protective equipment like masks and gloves.

Product Diseases Consumption rate
Fruit trees canker and shot 1-3 kg per 1000 L
Potato late blight 3 kg per 1000 L
