Dichlorvos EC 50% is a non-systemic, contact and stomach insecticide
with rapid action, highly effective against a wide range of pests including: Aphids-Thrips-Mealybugs-Whiteflies in vegetables and field crops and Wheat sawfly larvae… It is particularly effective in controlling both nymph and adult stages of these pests.
Dichlorvos is an organophosphate insecticide with neurotoxic activity. Its mechanism includes:
Inhibition of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in the insect nervous system
Rapid disruption of nerve signal transmission, leading to paralysis and death
Contact and fumigant activity ensures fast knockdown
Uses
Poultry farms: control beetles and flies (avoid direct application on animals)
Vegetable and greenhouse crops: control leafminers, thrips, aphids, and whiteflies
Onion thrips and greenhouse tomatoes and peppers
Application Notes:
Do not apply on growing cucumbers during flowering
Wait 12 hours after spraying before re introducing poultry
Avoid using other insecticides like Deltamethrin within 24 hours before or after Dichlorvos application
