• Cypermethrin 40% EC (Ripcord) is a powerful non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide formulated for fast knockdown and long-lasting residual protection. Designed to control a wide spectrum of chewing and leaf-feeding insects, this 1-liter emulsifiable concentrate is widely used in cotton fields, orchards, and various row crops.

• With strong contact and stomach action, Cypermethrin delivers rapid paralysis in target pests, making it one of the most effective solutions for bollworm control, cotton leafworms, and codling moth in apple orchards.

Mode of Action

• Cypermethrin contains a blend of eight active isomers that interfere with the insect nervous system by disrupting voltage-gated sodium channels. This causes:

  • Overstimulation of nerve cells

  • Loss of coordination

  • Rapid paralysis followed by death

  Its high stability and persistence ensure prolonged protection on treated plant surfaces.
