Metalaxyl + Cuprous Oxide

Metalaxyl + Cuprous Oxide 31.8% SC (Nordoxil) – systemic + protective fungicide for downy mildew, late blight, and root rots on tobacco, vegetables, and fruit trees. 1L packaging.

500 ml package
  • Metalaxyl + Cuprous Oxide (Nordoxil)  Behavaran
  • Systemic fungicide with protective and curative action, absorbed through leaves, stems, and roots. Effective against downy mildew on tobacco.

Mode of Action

  • Combination fungicide consisting of metalaxyl, a systemic fungicide with protective and curative effects from the acylalanine family, and cuprous oxide, an inorganic protective fungicide. Mechanism involves enzyme inhibition and increased cell wall thickness. Copper ions easily penetrate fungi and bacteria, disrupting their enzyme systems. Copper compounds have low toxicity to mammals.

Uses

  • Contains 25.8% metalaxyl and 6% cuprous oxide. Due to protective, systemic, curative properties, and plant mobility, controls powdery mildew, downy mildew, black spot, and peach leaf curl. Suitable for vegetables, ornamentals, fruit trees, and tobacco. Effective against fire blight on fruit trees, potato late blight, cucumber damping-off, rice crown and root rot, peach leaf curl, and tobacco downy mildew. No pre-harvest interval (PHI) established.

    • Tobacco – downy mildew: 1.5 L per hectare (soil application)
