Non-selective, systemic herbicide for controlling annual and perennial weeds in fruit trees and sugarcane.
Penetrative, non-selective herbicide from the phosphonic acid group that disrupts plant enzyme synthesis and activities. Absorbed through leaves and translocated throughout the plant. Symptoms include chlorosis and necrosis starting in young tissues, progressing to older tissues with white spotting.
Internationally used for annual and perennial weeds in legumes, cereals, oilseeds, turf, and orchards. Effect on annuals: 2-4 days; perennials: 7-10 days. Soil half-life <60 days. No pre-harvest interval established. Avoid spraying on young tree leaves/stems. Tank-mix with Freegate or ammonium sulfate reduces dosage.
