  • Hormonal, systemic, selective herbicide that inhibits growth for controlling broadleaf weeds in wheat and barley fields.

Mode of Action

  • Hormonal, penetrative, selective herbicide from the phenoxy acetic acid + aryloxy alkanoic acid group that acts as a growth inhibitor.

Uses

  • Internationally used for annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in turf, pastures, spring and winter wheat, and winter oats. Post-emergence application in wheat from tillering to stem elongation stage; in corn at 5-7 leaf stage. Do not graze livestock for 10 days after application. Avoid use under severe cold or drought stress. No pre-harvest interval established.

  • Apply pre-planting/pre-emergence only; incorporate into top 5-8 cm soil immediately.
  • Avoid drift to sensitive crops; use ground application.

  • Persistent in soil (half-life 57-126 days); avoid sandy soils and high rainfall areas.
  • Low leaching potential when incorporated; toxic to aquatic life.
