Mode of Action
Disrupts fatty acid synthesis enzymes, stopping weed growth. Absorbed through leaves, inhibits acetyl CoA carboxylase, preventing meristematic tissue development and killing plants. Selective, penetrative herbicide from the aryloxyphenoxy propionate (FOP) group.
Uses
Absorbed through leaves and roots with limited translocation. Symptoms include wilting, leaf yellowing, and inhibited root/stem growth. Soil half-life 30-60 days. Apply at 2-5 leaf stage of narrowleaf weeds under non-stress conditions. No pre-harvest interval established. Broader spectrum than other grass herbicides.
