Mode of Action

  • Selective, penetrative, contact herbicide from the aryloxyphenoxy propionic acid group that destroys cell membranes, reduces chlorophyll and photosynthesis, and inhibits meristem activity. Primarily absorbed by leaves, with some root uptake in moist soil.

Uses

  • Symptoms include stunted growth, reduced stem/root development, wilting, and chlorosis. Soil half-life less than 2 months. Internationally used for narrowleaf weeds in wheat, barley, flax, rapeseed, sunflower, clover, alfalfa, lettuce, spinach, potato, cucumber, chickpea, and bean fields. Apply post-emergence when weeds are at 2-4 leaf stage, during wheat tillering to early stem elongation. No pre-harvest interval established.
