  • A selective acaricidal insecticide from the avermectin group with contact, digestive, and penetrating properties, with an IRAC-6 and an acute oral toxicity of LD50=10.
  • Abamectin gold is a mixture of avermectin isomers b1a at 80% and b1b at 20%.
  • Abamectin acts on GABA receptors in the insect nervous system and kills pests.

Uses

In Iran, it is used to control pests such as leaf miner flies in vegetables and greens and citrus rust mites, and in other countries, it is used to control leaf miner flies in ornamental flowers and greenhouse greens, red mites in greenhouse peppers and strawberries, and western thrips in a variety of flowers and ornamental plants.  

Instructions for using Abamectin Gold

The dosage should not exceed 60 ml per 100 liters of water. This pesticide does not need to be mixed with any type of wetting agents or adhesives. In tomato and cucumber seedlings, spraying should be done at night before flowers and fruits form. The Karnes period for greenhouse lettuce is 14 days and for other crops, it is three days.

When using abamectin, be sure to wear appropriate gloves and a mask and avoid direct contact of the solution with the skin and eyes. If you experience any allergies or unusual symptoms, discontinue use and consult a doctor immediately. It is recommended to store the product in closed containers, away from direct light and in a cool environment.

Empty containers and waste should be disposed of or recycled in accordance with waste management guidelines and environmental regulations to prevent contamination of the ecosystem and harm to living organisms.
