Master Green Iron Chelate Fe-EDTA 12% is a foliar iron fertilizer that enhances chlorophyll production, improves greenness, reduces iron chlorosis, and supports healthy growth in crops and fruit trees.
Brand: Master Green
Packaging: 1000 gr
This fertilizer is in powder form and contains 8.5% sodium. It includes 12% soluble iron chelated with EDTA. EDTA is one of the most commonly used chelating agents for iron and is mainly applied through foliar spraying.
Among different iron chelates, EDDHA and EDDHSA are often considered the best due to their high stability and effectiveness across a wide pH range. These chelating agents ensure that iron remains available to plants even under challenging soil conditions, making them especially effective for correcting iron chlorosis in crops grown in alkaline soils. Both EDDHA and EDDHSA are suitable for fertigation and soil application.
However, EDTA chelate is the most suitable chelating agent for foliar application. It is stable within a pH range of 4 to 6.5, and therefore is not recommended for soil or irrigation application, especially in alkaline soils.
Suitable for agricultural and orchard crops
Plays a vital role in chlorophyll production and enhances photosynthesis
Increases leaf greenness and leaf surface area
Improves fruit set and reduces flower and fruit drop
Enhances plant resistance to pests, diseases, and cold stress
Provides available iron in alkaline and high-pH soils where root growth and iron uptake are limited
Fruit trees: 1 – 1.5 kg per 1000 liters of water (foliar application)
Citrus trees: 1.5 – 2.5 kg per 1000 liters of water (foliar application)
Field crops: 2 – 3 kg per hectare (foliar application)
