  • Packaging 250 ml

  • A contact, digestive and penetrating acaricide with ovicidal, larvicidal and nymphicidal effects from the carboxamide group of the organophosphate group IRAC=10AT- with an oral toxicity of LD50>5000mg/Kg, has two isomers, causes insect death by inhibiting the growth of mites.
  Method of action
  • Hexythiazox 10% EC is a specialized acaricide from the carboxamide (organophosphate) chemical group formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC). This compound is a non-systemic pesticide with contact and digestive effects and is mainly known as a tick growth regulator.
  • Hexythiazox acts by inhibiting chitin synthesis; chitin is the main component of the tick exoskeleton. It inhibits the growth and development of tick eggs, larvae and pupae It stops molting and causes death of immature stages It has no direct effect on adult ticks, but eggs from treated materials are infertile. At the molecular level, this compound disrupts the normal development of ticks by affecting the chitin synthase enzyme (CHS1).
Uses of Nisoron Acaricide
  •  Hexythiazox is used to control a wide range of plant mites, including the target pests: Spider mites (*Tetranychus spp.*) Red mites (*Panonychus spp.*) Citrus mites and other herbivorous mites Guide to using Hexythiazox To control citrus red mites with 1 in 1000 oil in late winter based on the principles of prevention.
  • This acaricide has no effect on the adult insect, but it causes the death of eggs in the female insect. The minimum interval between the last spraying and harvest in fruit trees is 14 days. The best time to use Nisoron is early in the infection and before the adult mite population increases, which has a very strong preventive effect.
