Calcium is one of the most important macro elements and is mostly known as a qualitative element. Its transport in the plant is slow and depends on the presence and absorption of water through the roots and xylem. For this reason, calcium deficiency symptoms are more often observed in drought stress.
In addition, it improves size and color, reduces flower and fruit shedding, increases tissue firmness, and extends the shelf life of crops. It plays an effective role in stimulating rooting, increasing the weight and quality of crops, especially bulbous and tuber crops.
